CLINKER is a piece that deeply explores the concept of formation and deconstruction. The title refers to the solidified residues that emerge during the melting of metals, symbolizing the integration of classical guitar and electronics. The composition opens with raw and almost industrial sound elements, evoking images of metals melting under extreme conditions. As the piece progresses, these rough sounds are meticulously crafted and transformed, evolving from an abrasive texture to intricate and refined sonic configurations. The piece navigates the dynamics between the rough and resonant, the chaotic and controlled, offering a sonic experience that reflects the complexity and aesthetics of brutalist architecture, where each element, despite its harshness, plays a crucial role in the overall structure.
